Eric and Laura Menefee founded and pastor The Gathering Place International (GPI) in 2006. They were commissioned and ordained by Pastors Tony and Cynthia Brazelton of Victory Christian Ministries International and are under their covering. GPI is a non-denominational, multi-racial, Bible-believing, and Bible teaching Spirit filled church.
Eric has been in music ministry for many, many years. He has served as worship leader in other churches as well as being a member of a music group that did concerts and services in many churches. He has a prophetic anointing and preaches and teaches the Word of God, bringing people into the presence of the Lord, and laying hands on the sick and weary, so that they will be healed and restored, and moves in other gifts of the Spirit.
Laura was born and raised Jewish and gave her life to the Lord while in college. She went on to graduate from GallaudetUniversity and later graduated from WesternMarylandCollege with a Master's degree in Deaf Education. She served as an events coordinator and technical coordinator at previous churches. She is an anointed teacher and desires to empower men and women with understanding of the Word and the Love of the Lord.
In 2010, the Lord has called Eric and Laura out even further and started another ministry, “Restoration and Manifestations Ministry” (RAMM ). They will be travelling, preaching the Kingdom, bringing restoration through the manifestation of the Holy Spirit as well as ministering to ministers. It is not enough to get all “head-knowledge” until it is rooted inside and put into action.
